For nearly two decades, I’ve lived and worked at the intersection of leadership and mental health. My own experience managing anxiety, depression, and bipolar II disorder has shaped not only my life, but also my mission: to help high achievers like you transform anxiety from a hidden struggle into a leadership superpower.
I’ve built and sold a business, advised U.S. Presidential campaigns, and now teach leaders at organizations like Harvard and Google. My Harvard Business Review book, The Anxious Achiever, and the award-winning podcast of the same name have reached millions, opening up honest conversations about anxiety, leadership, and performance. Along the way, I’ve conducted over 1,000 interviews, published more than 250 articles, and been recognized as one of LinkedIn’s Top 10 Voices for Mental Health and a Thinkers50 most influential leadership thinker.
Through my research, writing, and speaking, I’ve seen firsthand how anxiety, impostor feelings, perfectionism, and the need for control can hold even the most accomplished professionals back. But I also know that with the right tools and mindset shifts, these challenges can become sources of insight, empathy, and authentic leadership.
This app is the culmination of my work, bringing together proven frameworks, practical exercises, and daily practices to help you notice, name, understand, and reframe your anxiety. My hope is that you’ll discover, as I have, that your anxious self is not a weakness to hide, but a powerful asset to cherish and develop. I’m honored to guide you on this journey. This app is a great companion to therapy or work with a licensed mental health professional, and is not meant to replace professional mental health treatment.
