I very much enjoyed Charlie's genuine attitude throughout the whole process, it felt like he truly was going through his process and opening the door for people to see!
I really liked being able to see Charlie's process along the way. Creativity is often so sporadic and magical, yet he was able to let it flow in a very structured manner that gave me a lot of ideas and helped my own process!
One of the biggest take-aways is that this isn't magic. Artists like Charlie aren't in possession of magical abilities mere mortals can't access. He creates in stages. He throws ideas away. He's self-conscious. He's using (and learning) the same tools I have access to. It was nice to see that with a creative of his calibre.
Everything from start to finish was shared by Charlie, without any editing away from the video, and his thought process along the way. Really enjoyed the whole thing.
What I liked best was that Charlie was completely open throughout the whole thing. He shared every tip or piece of advice he could, he didn't keep his secrets to himself.
