I want to build an app that helps parents become better parents specifically in raising children who are mentally and emotionally stable. My content is based around healing our own childhood trauma, recognizing that our childhood and how we were raised has affected us now as adults. The ugly parts, the anger, the violence, the shouting it all stays within our bodies and knowing and recognizing that we have to heal because we don't want that to pass on to our children. Everyone knows how to raise children to follow the path to get to college but that's not as important anymore. What's most important is raising kids who are emotionally stable. We are in a mental health epidemic right now where half the population is struggling or have experienced depression symptoms and someone takes their life every 43 seconds. I want to build an app that helps parents recognize their own traumas from childhood and then how to heal them and how to raise thier children who are safe and loved

As a parent, I found myself repeating patterns I swore I’d never pass on—anger, impatience, and emotional distance that I recognized from my own upbringing. It was a wake-up call: I realized that the way I was raised, with all its unspoken pain and unresolved trauma, was shaping how I showed up for my own children. I didn’t want my kids to inherit the same emotional burdens I carried for years.

My journey began with confronting the uncomfortable truths about my childhood. Truthfully I started with the simplest of things, I read made positive affirmation cards, they were these colored, hand-written index cards that I would keep with me doing the "fake it til you make it" I would read one that said "I'm happy" meanwhile I was far from it. I was obsessed with reading positive quotes, deep poetry, and anything that could make me feel something. I felt unseen. I felt that it was only me who was going through this stuff and there's nothing worse than feeling these feelings and not knowing how to "fix" them. Healing wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. I learned that true change starts with self-awareness and a willingness to break the cycle.

Through this process, I became passionate about helping other parents do the same. I started sharing what I learned, and saw firsthand how powerful it is when parents commit to their own healing—not just for themselves, but for their children’s future. I realized that raising emotionally stable kids isn’t about perfection or following outdated paths; it’s about creating a safe, loving environment where children can thrive mentally and emotionally.

This app is the resource I wish I had when I started my journey. It’s built on evidence-based practices, real-life experience, and a deep belief that every parent has the power to heal and raise resilient, emotionally healthy children. My hope is that this app gives you the tools, support, and encouragement you need to break generational cycles and nurture a new legacy of love and stability.

When I was a child, my parents often yelled at me when I made mistakes. Even now, I notice I get tense and impatient when my own child spills something or forgets to listen.
