Drawing has always been my way of exploring the world, but I know firsthand how intimidating a blank page can feel—especially when you’re just starting out. Early in my career, I saw so many talented people give up on drawing because they felt pressured to be perfect or worried their work wasn’t good enough. That’s why I became passionate about teaching: I wanted to help others rediscover the playful, creative side of drawing that drew me in as a kid.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked as a professional concept artist for films and games, contributing to projects like The Sea Beast and Love, Death & Robots on Netflix, as well as upcoming titles such as For the Stars and Ashfall. I’ve taught design drawing at universities, led workshops around the world, and built a mentorship community through the Creature Design Workshop Discord. My YouTube channel has reached hundreds of thousands of aspiring artists, showing them that anyone can learn to draw with the right mindset and approach.
The idea for this app came from watching students transform when they let go of judgment and just started scribbling. I realized that the scribbling technique—making loose, playful marks—was the key to unlocking creativity and building confidence. I designed this app to guide you step by step, whether you haven’t drawn in years or are picking up a pencil for the first time. Every lesson is structured to be accessible, relaxing, and creatively freeing.
My hope is that this app helps you break through the fear and pressure that hold so many people back. I want you to experience the joy of drawing, to build a daily habit, and to see your imagination come alive on the page. Let’s make drawing fun again—together.
