That mission became even more personal when I went through a severe brain virus that nearly took movement away from me. There was a period where the ability to move, train, and do the things I loved wasn’t guaranteed. Going through that forced me to see movement differently—not just as performance, but as something foundational to our quality of life. It deepened my commitment to evidence-based movement and reinforced why getting the right movement matters.
