Dr. Chalice C. Rhodes
Two-time breast cancer survivor, RHODESWARRIOR™, and Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma-informed care, psychosocial oncology, and whole-person support
I created this app from a journey I have personally lived, professionally studied, spiritually integrated, and now feel called to share with other women. As a two-time breast cancer survivor and RHODESWARRIOR™, I understand that the end of treatment does not always mean the end of fear, grief, uncertainty, or the work of rebuilding trust in your body and your future.
My experience has included an initial diagnosis, lumpectomy, radiation, recurrence, bilateral mastectomy, breast reconstruction, physical therapy, and the emotional and spiritual work of learning to feel safe in my body and fully embrace life again. These experiences shaped my understanding of the deeply personal realities that may remain after treatment ends.
Professionally, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Board-Certified TeleMental Health Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Psychosocial Cancer/Oncology Behavioral Health Specialist. I bring nearly three decades of experience supporting women through healing, trauma, transition, identity development, spiritual formation, leadership, and purpose.
As the founder of The Wellness Path® and The Wellness Path Institute™, creator of the Rhodes Regulation & Results Framework™, best-selling author, researcher, educator, speaker, trainer, and host of Talk the Wellness Tea with Dr. Chalice, I have devoted my work to sustainable transformation through whole-person formation.
Within this experience, RHODESWARRIOR™ represents the movement from surviving, to reclaiming your power, to Building Beyond. It honors the courage required to endure while recognizing that a woman can be powerful without remaining at war. RHODESWARRIOR™ is an invitation, never a required identity, rank, or measure of strength.
Every woman has the right to choose the language that honors her experience. She may identify as a survivor, thriver, warrior, RHODESWARRIOR™, Rising Whole, Building Beyond, or another term that feels authentic to her. She may also choose not to use a label at all and simply refer to herself by her first name. Her identity and language belong to her.
This app brings together evidence-informed practice, trauma-informed care, Christian faith, oncology behavioral-health expertise, personalized reflection, and compassionate guidance. My hope is that it helps women move beyond merely surviving and begin rising with greater safety, agency, faith, connection, and purpose while complementing, never replacing, medical care, psychotherapy, or guidance from their oncology team.
