A pioneer of yoga in the U.S., Rodney Yee has been teaching for over four decades, with instructional courses often ranking among the top 10 fitness programs in the country. He first introduced yoga to millions when he appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1999 and has since been featured on CNN, PBS, and more. Rodney is a co-chair of the Urban Zen Health and Wellness Initiative, which integrates yoga and holistic therapies into hospitals across the U.S.
Christened “The First Lady of Yoga” by The New York Times in 2013, Colleen is one of the most respected and recognized faces in the world of yoga. She has had a varied career: She was an international fashion model, graduated from the Ohashi school of shiatsu, and has lived in Calcutta, working with Mother Theresa at the Home for the Dying and Destitute. Together with Rodney Yee, Colleen directs Urban Zen’s Integrative Yoga Therapist Program, an initiative to transform care in hospitals.
