Hi! I'm Nick, co-founder of Decolonizing Love, a relationship-education platform that teaches polyamory from a social justice and decolonial perspective.
I'm also a relationship coach. I've coached over 650 people who were opening up their relationships or moving into non-monogamy, and I've seen it go well and go badly. Many come to me once they realize they're in over their heads, even after reading all the books.
Most relationship advice treats couplehood, hierarchy, cohabitation, and the relationship escalator as the default. That leads to hurt feelings, anxiety, betrayal, and sometimes breakups.
That's why I created PolyCoach. It starts from a different place: your relationships should reflect your values, autonomy, consent, and community. It's for people questioning monogamy, opening an existing relationship, practicing solo polyamory, exploring relationship anarchy, swinging, or building another consensual structure. It doesn't prescribe one "right" way to relate. Each unit gives you tools for reflection, communication, repair, and intentional choice.
