I didn't come to photography the usual way. I studied audio engineering and ran my own recording studio, and when I picked up a camera almost by chance, I approached it like an engineer — technically, systematically, from the ground up. I didn't know you weren't "supposed" to shoot that way, so I did — and I ended up building techniques most photographers simply weren't using.
People kept asking how I got my results, so I started sharing those techniques — first in a few workshops, and almost by accident it became my profession. Over the years I refined how I teach and turned my methods into structured programs. Today I teach photography at the SAE Institute Zurich, a private university, run my own workshops, lead photo tours as I have for years, and speak regularly at many of the biggest photography events in the German-speaking world. My work spans landscape, seascape, nightscape and astro, streetscape, studio and people. It's earned medals at international competitions and made me an official ambassador for Sigma, Eizo, Haida, Leofoto and Lowepro, and along the way I've built a large community across social media. This app brings all of it into one place — my complete way of seeing, planning and editing, built to teach you one day at a time. Fabio in your pocket.
