When I arrived in London, I did not have a single professional contact. I had no family in the industry, no alumni network, and nobody to call. Everything I have built since came from relationships I developed deliberately, one person at a time, because there was no shortcut available to me.
That journey led to three companies, including GTA Black Women in Tech, which grew into one of Europe's largest ecosystems for Black women in technology and reached more than 24,000 people. It also led to opportunities to speak on stages for Meta, Microsoft, Toyota, Amazon, HSBC, and the Financial Times, as well as being named the UK's number one Most Influential Woman in Tech by Computer Weekly.
For 15 years, my work as a behaviour brand strategist has focused on understanding how people decide, trust, and commit. I have advised the BBC on brand and taught entrepreneurship at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Those experiences showed me that meaningful professional relationships are not built through collecting contacts or sending generic messages; they are built through relevance, trust, consistency, and generosity.
I created this app to teach the system I had to invent because I had no network to inherit. It gives you practical relationship actions at a pace you choose, helping you become someone worth knowing, worth remembering, and trusted with opportunities. My hope is that this app helps you build a network that reflects your ambitions and creates opportunities you could not have reached alone.
