Drum educator & Founder of BeatLore; 14+ years of teaching 

I didn't discover my passion for drumming until my mid-teens. I found myself listening to music in a completely different way, focusing on the drums and working out the rhythms by ear. Before long, I realised I could copy what I heard, but I didn't fully understand why it worked or how to turn those rhythms into something musical of my own.

Finding the right teacher changed everything. It helped me understand not just what to play, but why it worked. That way of learning shaped how I teach today.

Over the last 14+ years I've taught drummers of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to aspiring gigging musicians. I've also worked with students with autism and ADHD, reinforcing something I believe deeply: no two drummers learn in exactly the same way.

That's why I built BeatLore. I wanted to create the rhythm coach I wish I'd had when I started, one that that adapts to your goals, your experience, your equipment and the way you learn, instead of expecting everyone to follow the same path.
