My journey with parrots began over a decade ago, when I took in my first rescue and quickly realized how misunderstood and complex these incredible birds can be. What started as a single act of compassion soon grew into a lifelong mission—over the past 14 years, I’ve operated a dedicated parrot rescue, caring for birds from all backgrounds and with every imaginable need.
Through hands-on experience, formal training as a certified avian specialist, and advanced aviculture studies, I’ve learned that every parrot is unique, and their care requires both expertise and empathy. I’ve seen firsthand the challenges owners and rescues face, from nutrition and enrichment to behavioral issues and medical emergencies. My goal has always been to bridge the gap between expert knowledge and practical, everyday care.
