I came to the field of work as a wounded healer. as I struggled with bulimia nervosa for almost a decade. There was little help available back then and I vowed to support others in a way that I hadn't felt supported myself. Bulimia left me feeling trapped, anxious, and disconnected. It eroded my self-worth from the core. But I always believed that I would recover - somehow, some day. The process of recovery was messy and imperfect but it taught me invaluable lessons about compassion, resilience, and the importance of healing from within.
Driven by my own pain and subsequent healing, I became passionate about supporting other women on their path to food freedom. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked 1-1 with hundreds of women, both in the NHS and private practice, guiding them to overcome disordered eating, build self-compassion, and rediscover joy in their lives. My approach is rooted in both professional expertise and lived experience, blending evidence-based strategies with empathy and understanding.
Through my podcast, Instagram, YouTube and Substack, I’ve reached thousands of people worldwide, sharing practical tools and honest conversations about recovery. I’ve developed comprehensive resources through courses to make healing accessible and actionable.
