My journey has been shaped by both unimaginable pain and the relentless pursuit of hope. Years ago, I survived a suicide attempt from the Golden Gate Bridge, a moment that changed everything. Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to sharing my story, breaking the silence around mental health, and helping others find meaning in their own experiences.
Through my books like "Cracked Not Broken" and "The Art of Being Broken," my HINESIGHTS podcast, and countless talks around the world, I’ve learned that our stories...no matter how difficult, can become powerful tools for healing, connection, and change. But I also know how overwhelming it can feel to turn pain into purpose, or to figure out how to share your message, build a movement, or create lasting impact.
