My journey as a Ukrainian language teacher began over a decade ago, working with learners from all walks of life—partners of Ukrainians, travelers, and families reconnecting with their roots. Over the years, I kept looking for new ways to complement traditional learning and make it more personal, practical, and connected to each learner’s real life. That idea became the foundation for this app.
One thing became clear to me: every learner is different. Some need more confidence speaking, others struggle to remember vocabulary, understand grammar, or stay motivated between lessons. And the things that make learning meaningful are different too—a conversation with a Ukrainian partner, an upcoming trip, talking to family, or simply being able to understand a song or a conversation.
That’s why I created this app: to give every learner the experience of having a private Ukrainian teacher who knows them, remembers their journey, and crafts each lesson just for them. Drawing on my background in linguistics, educational technology, and AI, I designed a system that combines real-life conversations, cultural insights, and smart progress tracking—all delivered with patience and warmth.
I believe language learning should never feel like a test.
