For over twenty years, I’ve worked at the intersection of psychology and high performance – coaching athletes, teams, and leaders to excel when it matters most. My journey began with a fascination for how the mind shapes outcomes, not just in theory, but in the unpredictable, high-stakes moments of real competition. I’ve had the privilege of supporting Olympic and Paralympic gold medalists, as well as champions in cricket, motorsport, and football, witnessing firsthand the difference that robust mental skills can make under pressure.
What I’ve learned is that mental performance isn’t about quick fixes or motivational slogans. It’s about building psychological resources through consistent, evidence-based routines that actually work in the heat of competition. My approach draws on Functional Imagery Training and REBT principles, translating rigorous science into practical tools athletes can use day to day.
