When I first stepped into the world of audiobook narration, I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of technical and creative skills required to produce a truly compelling performance. Despite my decades and training in acting and voice work, I quickly realized that narrating audiobooks was a unique craft—one that demanded not just talent, but also a deep understanding of storytelling, audio production, and the publishing industry.
Since beginning my career, I've had the privilege of narrating hundreds of audiobooks for major publishers like Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, and Recorded Books, as well as collaborating with many best-selling independent authors. Along the way, I've earned multiple awards and, perhaps more importantly, learned what it takes to create an audiobook that truly stands out.
As I began coaching authors and aspiring narrators, I saw the same struggles I once faced: confusion about equipment, uncertainty about performance choices, and frustration with the technical side of production. I wanted to create a resource that demystifies the process and empowers anyone—whether you're an author narrating your own work or a new voice artist—to produce an audiobook you can be proud of.
That's why I built this app. It distills everything I've learned from thousands of hours in the booth into a step-by-step process, with practical tips, real-world examples, and the same guidance I give my private coaching clients. My hope is that this app gives you the confidence, skills, and insider knowledge to create an audiobook worthy of any award—and to enjoy the journey along the way.
