When I first started learning piano, it often felt more like a chore than something I actually enjoyed. Like so many beginners, I spent years working through scales, exercises and technical exercises, believing that playing beautiful music was something you had to earn after years of hard work.
Even after completing my Bachelor and Master of Music in Piano Performance, I kept seeing the same problem with my own students. People wanted to play beautiful, impressive music, but traditional learning could make piano feel overwhelming, repetitive or simply boring. So I started teaching differently.
Instead of beginning with the boring stuff, I created simple cinematic melodies, emotional chord progressions and musical patterns that sounded impressive but were surprisingly easy to play. Beginners who had almost given up on piano were suddenly practising because they wanted to. They were experiencing that feeling of sitting at a piano and thinking, “Wait... I can actually play this?”
That philosophy grew into "Jhoony Piano" and a community of more than 750,000 people. It showed me that beginners don't need to wait years before they can sound good. When you enjoy what you're playing from the beginning, learning the skills along the way becomes so much easier. I built this app to take that philosophy even further.
I've personally created 150+ video lessons covering the melodies, techniques and playing skills I want you to learn — but instead of putting them into one fixed course that everyone follows in the same order, your AI coach builds the journey around you.
