For over a decade, I’ve dedicated my life to teaching Ashtanga Yoga through the traditional Mysore method—first in my Miami-based studio, and later with students around the world. My own journey began as a student struggling to build consistency, unsure how to progress, and overwhelmed by the complexity of the Primary Series. It was through the patient guidance of my teachers and the rhythm of daily practice that I began to truly embody the method—not just memorizing postures, but developing breath, awareness, resilience, and trust in myself over time.As a teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative this approach can be. But I also understand the realities of modern life: travel, busy schedules, inconsistent access to guidance, injuries, self-doubt, and the challenge of sustaining practice alone.This app was designed to function like a digital Mysore room—guiding you progressively through the Primary Series with steadiness, intelligence, and respect for tradition. Rather than overwhelming you with the entire sequence at once, the practice unfolds gradually over time through guided video, Sanskrit, philosophy, vinyasa count, nervous system awareness, and daily repetition.My hope is that, over time, you won’t need the app forever. You’ll build confidence, consistency, and a relationship to the practice that becomes fully your own.
