I’m Julessa Scofield, a metalsmith, educator, and mentor with nearly two decades of experience at the bench and in the classroom. I hold an MFA in Jewelry and Metal Arts, and my art jewelry has been exhibited in museums and published in books.

Technical skill matters—but technique alone does not create meaningful work. Design develops when you learn to question your choices: proportion, repetition, scale, material, symbolism, contrast, movement, and the relationship between form and meaning.
