Let me ask you:
Do you feel stuck in your progress as a musician?
Have you learned a bunch of riffs and songs on the guitar, but when it comes to truly mastering your instrument or applying your musical knowledge to other instruments, does it feel like you've hit a wall?
You're not alone. I've been there too.
At an early age, I started out on drums and I loved it. But when I picked up the guitar for the first time, something shifted—I knew I had found my instrument. I began practicing obsessively, taking lessons, and eventually went to music school to study classical guitar. You'd think I had my path in music all figured out...but not exactly.
Building a foundation in music and practicing my instrument felt like two separate worlds. I could understand theory concepts in class, but when it came to applying them directly to the guitar, it didn't always click. Music fundamentals and theory were taught in isolation—never woven into
the fabric of my instrument. By the time I graduated, I had the degree, but I lacked the confidence to thrive in any music situation.
After graduation, I landed what I thought was my dream job, working with top symphonies and other music institutions. But I wasn’t happy. I wasn't growing or creating as a musician. I felt stuck and uninspired. I knew I had to make a change.
So, I left it all behind, bought a van, and took a year-long journey across the US. That decision changed everything. I played music everywhere—around campfires, on street corners, and at house parties. I met musicians of all genres, jamming and learning from them in ways no classroom could have
taught me. By experiencing music in its most organic forms, the connection between theory and creative expression finally started to make sense.
Eventually, I began teaching music full-time and noticed a pattern:
My students struggled with the same disconnect I did. They could memorize songs and riffs, but had no solid foundation.
That's when I started developing my framework. I share ways of looking at the guitar that build fretboard fluency—breaking down the neck into
parts so it feels less like a maze and more like a canvas for creativity.
With this knowledge, you'll gain the skills and confidence to express yourself freely.
I empower my students to master the building blocks of music so they can thrive in any musical situation. Imagine walking into any jam session—whether in your hometown or halfway around the world—with confidence.
Or maybe you want to compose with freedom and unleash your full creative potential. My students have experienced this transformation, and I want the same for you.
If you're ready to stop feeling stuck and break through, I'd love to guide you.
Imagine where music could take you with the right foundation.
