Over thirty years ago, I found myself wandering the sunlit streets of Florence, captivated by the colours, textures, and gentle pace of Italian life. It was there that I first picked up a watercolour brush, not knowing it would become both my passion and my calling. The beauty of Tuscany—its landscapes, light, and sense of tranquillity—continues to inspire my art and my teaching every day.
My background in fashion design and illustration, together with years of teaching, has allowed me to share my love of watercolour with thousands of students around the world. I've always believed that art should be approachable and enjoyable, not intimidating. That's why I've developed a teaching style that welcomes complete beginners while offering inspiration and new techniques for more experienced artists.
For me, watercolour is more than just a technique—it's a way to slow down, reconnect with creativity, and notice the beauty in everyday life. I created this app to guide you step by step, helping you build confidence with every lesson and encouraging you to create artwork you never thought possible. Each exercise is designed to be relaxing and rewarding, inspired by the colours and atmosphere of Tuscany.
My hope is that, through this app, you'll not only learn to paint but also discover a new way of seeing the world. Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or returning to a forgotten passion, I'm here to guide and encourage you every step of the way, helping you experience a little of Tuscany wherever you are.
