Growing up in the South, hoodoo was woven into the fabric of my family’s daily life. I learned from elders who passed down their wisdom through stories, rituals, and hands-on practice—never from books, but from lived experience. As I got older, I realized how much of this knowledge was at risk of being lost or misunderstood, especially as popular culture often misrepresents or dilutes our traditions.
For years, I’ve dedicated myself to preserving and teaching authentic southern African American hoodoo. I’ve led community workshops, guided individuals through spiritual cleansings, and helped people reconnect with their roots using the same methods my ancestors used. My focus has always been on honoring the spirits, respecting the land, and keeping our practices true to their origins.
I created this app to make these teachings accessible to anyone who feels called to explore hoodoo, whether you’re reconnecting with your heritage or discovering it for the first time. Every lesson, recipe, and ritual in the app is grounded in tradition—no shortcuts, no trendy buzzwords, just the real work as it’s been done for generations.
My hope is that this app becomes a trusted companion on your spiritual path, helping you find strength, healing, and connection through the power of hoodoo. I invite you to join me in honoring our ancestors and keeping these sacred traditions alive.
