I’m a professional artist and teacher with a particular passion — some might say obsession! — for gold leaf and decorative art. Over the past few years, I’ve dedicated myself to exploring this beautiful material: experimenting with different techniques, discovering its possibilities and, just as importantly, learning from the things that don’t quite go to plan.
Through my teaching and YouTube channel, I’ve shared that journey with a growing community of artists and makers around the world. Again and again, I’ve seen how a little encouragement, practical guidance and permission to experiment can give someone the confidence to take an idea much further than they expected.
I created ARTBoost to bring those things together. Think of it as a pocket art teacher: a place to explore gold leaf and decorative techniques through a series of creative activities, while developing your own ideas rather than simply copying mine.
You’ll experiment with gold as both a beautiful surface and a decorative detail, play with colour, imagery and composition, and gradually take your projects in your own direction — with guidance and personalised feedback from me along the way.
