I know what it feels like to miss making art.
For years, I kept setting creativity aside. There was always something that felt more important, more productive, more deserving of my energy.
I felt its absence. Art balances me. It helps me process and reset. Without it, I don’t feel fully like myself.
Reclaiming my creativity started with something that felt big: my first art journal, and a commitment to make art every day for 100 days. I built a creative self-care practice one small, imperfect piece at a time. What changed wasn’t just that I was making art again, it was accepting that it isn’t something extra. It supports everything else.
Most people who make art with me in workshops or find me on YouTube have lost space for creativity, not interest. But it can be so hard to give ourselves permission to take the time. BETTER WITH ART is a less intimidating way back in than the 100 days I dove into headfirst.
