Fitness has always been a part of who I am, but my journey has been anything but easy. Over the years, I’ve faced more than 13 major surgeries—each one challenging my body, my spirit, and my sense of what was possible. There were days when even getting off the couch felt impossible, and I know firsthand how illness, injury, pain, or simply feeling stuck can make movement seem out of reach.

Through those struggles, I discovered that true transformation isn’t about pushing harder or chasing quick fixes, it’s about listening to your body, understanding your needs, and validating every small victory along the way.
I realized that movement, mindset, and nutrition are deeply connected—and that anyone, regardless of age, ability, or health challenges, can build a lifestyle that supports their goals.

That’s why I created this app. I wanted to offer a progressive, compassionate approach to fitness that meets you where you are—whether you’re just starting out, overcoming adversity, looking to break through a plateau or wanting to build a stronger healthier version of yourself. My method is rooted in the belief that every movement counts, and that consistency, self-care, and intentional habits are the keys to lasting change.

I met Jenn at the gym because she was there, without fail, every single morning. She always had a huge smile on her face because she truly loves working on her health and fitness! We naturally migrated into lifting periodically together, but her way of working out was just not what I had been taught over the years and years, not to mention thousands of dollars I had spent on training with some of the most well known trainers in the country. Following a burst fracture of my L3 vertebrae in October and surgery in November to fuse my L2 and L4, I found myself in a very difficult place. As a male it is important to me to have the right diet and right workout routine to transform my body from 0 to hero. And with Jenn it came quicker than I thought it could. By pushing myself and following the program correctly, I can see a drastic result in strength, body fat percentage, and muscle mass. On my first week on the program I noticed a big change in my body. I was not always consistent in moving, I work at a desk and computer each day so by the time I got home I was already mentally exhausted and would glance down at my step tracker and see that I had only moved or stepped 3000 times in the entire day!! I left defeated and would not want to try to do any other physical activity. My teenagers are all into sports so by the time I had them to each event it was time to grab some fast food and go to bed. As I would try to create better habits, I would become irritated because I was not planning or prepping consistently then giving up.With MEMC's daily reminders and videos, I was able to have constant reminders that throughout the day even at the office I could be doing things differently to incorporate more movement. Instead of emailing a message I would walk to the person and talk to them and instead of sitting all day long I could walk in place at my desk to increase movement. I'm able to plan time on the weekends so that I'm able to have my meals prepped for the entire week, saving a ton of frustration with "where do I go for lunch?" At dinner time instead of eating really late I have a routine that works with my family and keeps me consistent with walking a few miles each day. While I'm walking, I reread prior messages from Jenn that keeps me motivated to keep moving.

We naturally migrated into lifting periodically together, but her way of working out was just not what I had been taught over the years and years, not to mention thousands of dollars I had spent on training with some of the most well known trainers in the country. I'm not a newbie. I've done well in bikini competitions so I thought I knew how this whole game worked.... until I got stuck, three months before my wedding! Jen offered to help, I reluctantly said ok, secretly planning on continuing to do what all the other trainers and magazines had taught. She must have seen right through me because half way through the second day's workout, she literally stops me, mid rep, mid sentence, and says... you are going to have to trust me. You are going to have to let go of what you think you know, and just trust me, I won't let you down. Talk about a gut check. I was stuck, my wedding was right around the corner, so I kind of had no choice. I showed up each morning, let her lead each rep, and cried the morning of my wedding because I have never felt so muscular, firm and proud of my accomplishments in my life! I was not always consistent in moving, I work at a desk and computer each day so by the time I got home I was already mentally exhausted and would glance down at my step tracker and see that I had only moved or stepped 3000 times in the entire day!! I left defeated and would not want to try to do any other physical activity. My teenagers are all into sports so by the time I had them to each event it was time to grab some fast food and go to bed. As I would try to create better habits, I would become irritated because I was not planning or prepping consistently then giving up.With MEMC's daily reminders and videos, I was able to have constant reminders that throughout the day even at the office I could be doing things differently to incorporate more movement. Instead of emailing a message I would walk to the person and talk to them and instead of sitting all day long I could walk in place at my desk to increase movement. I'm able to plan time on the weekends so that I'm able to have my meals prepped for the entire week, saving a ton of frustration with "where do I go for lunch?" At dinner time instead of eating really late I have a routine that works with my family and keeps me consistent with walking a few miles each day. While I'm walking, I reread prior messages from Jenn that keeps me motivated to keep moving.
