Growing up, I always wondered why we aren't taught much about money management in school. I saw friends and classmates make avoidable mistakes with their first paychecks, credit cards, and savings, simply because no one ever showed us the basics. My own journey into financial literacy started out of necessity. I wanted to avoid the pitfalls I saw all around me, but I had to learn everything the hard way.
Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated my career to changing that. As a CPA, I’ve worked with individuals and organizations to build strong financial foundations. I’ve spoken on the TEDx stage, written two bestselling books, and created content and courses that have reached over a million people worldwide. Every time I share my story, speak at a conference, or teach a workshop, I hear the same thing: “I wish I learned this sooner.”
That’s why I created this app. I wanted to build something practical, engaging, and accessible for teens and young adults who are just starting to earn money. This app teaches and applies real-world skills like budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding credit. Financial literacy education is something that I believe everyone deserves to know, but we aren't formally taught.
