My name is Rodereck Blassingame, and I am a full-time missionary based in Denton, TX. I am a passionate evangelist with one mission: to make the name of Jesus known.
Since my life-changing encounter with Christ on August 25, 2020, I’ve devoted my life to sharing the Gospel with those who have yet to hear it. Jesus saved me, transformed me, and gave me a purpose beyond anything I could have imagined. Now, every day, I live to tell others about the hope, freedom, and love found in Him.
For over a decade, I identified as a gay man—until Jesus radically met me and showed me a better way. Because of His grace, I now carry a burden to be a voice of both truth and compassion to the LGBTQ+ community, calling them to reconciliation with God.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University and was trained and commissioned as an evangelist through Pulse Evangelism.
By God's grace, He has opened doors for me to share my story and proclaim the Gospel in powerful ways. I’ve had the honor of speaking at renowned festivals like OneFest and Amplify, which have drawn crowds of over 50,000 people. I’ve also shared my testimony on major platforms such as Jubilee’s YouTube channel, reaching millions of viewers worldwide. Through social media—YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok—I continue to reach people across the globe with the life-changing message of Jesus.
This is just the beginning. I am committed to spending my life going where others won’t—on the streets, in overlooked communities, in conversations with people from different religions and worldviews—meeting people where they are and pointing them to Jesus. I want every person, in every community, to know that there is a God who loves them and can change their life like He changed mine.
