I’ve spent most of my adult life searching for ways to feel calmer and more in control of my anxiety. Like so many people, I tried every self-care trend, read countless books, and downloaded every app that promised to help—but nothing ever seemed to stick. The truth is, I’m not an expert or a therapist. I’m just someone who’s been in therapy for years, constantly building and rebuilding routines to support my mental health.
Through our podcast, Secondhand Therapy, I’ve shared every step of my journey—failures, breakthroughs, and all—with a community of people who are just as committed to finding what works. Our listeners and followers have shown me that the most powerful advice often comes from people who are still figuring it out themselves, not from those who claim to have all the answers.
That’s why I created Secondhand Daily. It’s built on the same journal prompts and self-care experiments that have helped me and our community make real progress. The app isn’t about perfection or expertise—it’s about showing up, trying new things, and learning what actually helps you feel better, one day at a time.
My hope is that Secondhand Daily gives you the structure, support, and gentle accountability you need to build a routine that truly fits your life. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by anxiety or struggled to stick with self-care, you’re not alone—and I’m right here with you, learning and growing every day.
