My journey began with a fascination for how people adapt and succeed when working and living abroad. Early in my career as a work psychologist, I saw firsthand how even the most talented professionals could struggle—not because of technical skills, but because of cultural differences and the challenges of adapting to new environments.
Over the past 30 years, I’ve dedicated my research, teaching, and consulting to understanding what truly helps people become globally effective. Through Skiilify, I've worked with multinational organizations, universities, and individuals preparing for international assignments, and I’ve seen the transformative power of cultural agility and self-awareness. Yet, I always wished there was a practical, personalized way to help people prepare—not just with information, but with real developmental guidance.
That’s why I created Skiilify's SAGE (Strategic Adaptability for Global Experiences), an interactive, real-time app for every global professional.
