"After 25 years of teaching meditation, I know how shame and control take hold around food. This is the daily support that helps you eat with more ease."

If eating has become a place of shame, rules, or trying to control everything, you're not alone, and you are in the right place.
For a long time I carried beliefs about myself that shaped how I lived, including how I ate. I didn't always notice how much they were running things.

When I began meditating more than 30 years ago, I started to see how much I was suffering through harsh, urgent thoughts. What began to change everything was letting go of shame and learning to meet myself with kindness. That same shift is possible around food and eating.

Over the past 25 years I've taught these practices to thousands of people through courses, classes, and guided audio. I've worked with people like me who struggled with shame and control around food, and others who were just beginning to notice how their thoughts shaped their eating.
You are not broken. You learned to cope the best way you could, and now you can learn something new.

I offer you a short, gentle daily practice that meets you where you are, whether food feels full of rules, you're tired of the harsh voice around eating and your body, or you're just starting to notice how your thoughts affect you.

My hope is that you come to feel more ease around food and more at home with yourself.

Lynn's voice is very comforting. I appreciate the explanation of beginning about blood flow to the digestive tract and extremities under stress. I remembered only having 30 minutes for lunch in high school. That included walking to the cafeteria, standing in line to get food, eating, busing my own table, and walking to the next class. It's no wonder why I eat fast. That will be a good habit to change.

It's very soothing to my nervous system to listen to Lynn's voice. A perfect meditation for someone like me who's very familiar with being harsh and critical towards myself. Practicing kindness towards myself helps with this meditation.
