Traveling the world as a wheelchair user wasn’t something I ever imagined for myself, especially after my service in the Air Force left me disabled. But once I took that first leap, I realized how much was possible—and how much information was missing for people like me. Over the years, I’ve visited 59 countries, most of those solo with my wheelchair, facing every challenge from inaccessible airports to unexpected hotel barriers. I didn’t just read about accessible travel—I lived it, learned from my mistakes, and found creative solutions when things went wrong.
I started sharing my experiences through my blog, Spin the Globe, and was amazed by how many people reached out for advice. My journey grew into an award-winning platform, four published books, and a social media community of over 138,000 people who trust my honest, practical guidance. I know firsthand what disabled travelers are afraid to ask, and I’ve spent years teaching others how to overcome those fears and travel with confidence.
As an accessible travel agent, I helped dozens of wheelchair users plan cruises and adventures, learning exactly what makes a trip truly accessible—and what pitfalls to avoid. I built this app to put all that hard-earned knowledge in your hands, so you don’t have to wait for the perfect trip or feel overwhelmed by the unknown. My hope is that this app empowers you to take those first steps, explore the world on your terms, and discover just how far you can go.
