As someone who grew up in the demanding arena of competitive dance and cheer, I know firsthand the immense pressure athletes face—both on and off the field. The culture often demands unwavering strength and constant success, leaving little room for vulnerability or honest conversations about mental health. I have worked with many athletes who have attempted to dismiss their struggles, fearing judgment or consequences that could impact their career and relationships within the sport. The culture of sports for athletes needs to change, and that starts with you.

Over the years, I realized that true strength comes from acknowledging our challenges and learning to separate self-worth from athletic achievements. Finding fulfillment and inner-peace is possible, even when the spotlight fades or the season ends. I became passionate about helping athletes navigate these transitions, cope with criticism, and find their voice in a world that often tells them to stay silent if they want to be successful.
