About the role
We're looking for someone who can design and build AI agents and agentic systems that power our App Builder and our creator apps — from autonomous workflows and LLM orchestration to intelligent pipelines and novel AI-powered experiences. You'll work directly with the founders to push the boundaries of what's possible, with a keen eye for what actually creates value for users and the business. This is a rare opportunity to join a team that moves energizingly fast, thinks deeply, and is building something that genuinely matters. What you'll do
- Design and build AI agents and agentic systems that power creator apps at scale
- Architect multi-step autonomous workflows
- Integrate and optimize LLM-based features for production use
- Build robust data pipelines for training and inference
- Create tools for creators to customize AI behavior for their audiences
- Optimize AI systems for cost, latency, and quality
- Stay current with AI research and rapidly apply new techniques
Requirements
- You love to learn and experiment — deeply curious about how things work
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Experience building agents and agentic systems in production
- Great product and business sense — you understand what creates real value
- Experience building with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application patterns
- Ability to balance research exploration with shipping products
- Excited about consumer AI applications that help real people
- Based in NYC or willing to relocate (in-person role)
Nice to have
- You've been deep in the AI wave — experimenting with the latest models, building agents, and shipping agentic systems
- Experience with fine-tuning or training models
- Background in NLP, conversational AI, or RAG systems
- You've built your own AI-powered projects or products
