Ron Irizarry is a Grammy recognized singer-songwriter and producer with songs written for motion picture and TV. He’s had the opportunity to write songs that he’s been able to perform to over tens of thousands of people. His music has been featured on The Late Late Show on CBS, as well as projects for Lakeshore Entertainment and Overture Films. In this class, Ron Irizarry teaches you everything he knows about the creative process of songwriting.  During class, Ron brings you into his studio to share with you his entire songwriting process from start to finish using rhyme schemes and wordplay. You’ll follow along with Ron as he navigates the songwriting process, starting from scratch with a simple chord progression, all the way to a fully completed song. Along the way, Ron explains everything he’s doing and thinking in detail - his entire thought process, all the challenges, all the roadblocks, how he works through them, and all his different techniques that he uses to get to the goal. He pulls back the curtain and shows you all the tricks and tools he’s learned and acquired over the years in his experience of songwriting. By the end of the class, you’ll learn everything you need to write an original creative song of your very own, using a simple step by step process that you can apply repeatedly throughout your songwriting journey.
