Class Overview

Follow the journey of an independent artist struggling to write
Look, we all face insecurities as independent artists. And especially as you approach the point in your career when you are trying to release your first album or EP, finding the inspiration to write exactly the song you need is ROUGH.  As Saint Josie begins the process of brainstorming, writing lyrics, and producing a song for her first album, she quickly finds that she feels like she can't write with the pressure of the camera on her, and fears that she may have been just a little bit too ambitious in committing to creating a class centered around writing a song in front of a camera.  But as she continues to take one step at a time, she slowly learns to trust the process, and ultimately finds the power within herself that is within every artist - the power to create something beautiful and unique out of nothing but a spark of passion.  Come along on this tumultuous journey with Josie as she wrestles with her doubts and insecurities and creates the perfect missing piece of her album and a song that she is deeply proud of.
