My journey into the world of metabolic health began not in a clinic, but in the corporate world of engineering leadership. As a Biochemical Engineer and Master Technologist I had spent decades solving complex problems, through deep analysis of data and resolution of primary root causes. But when I faced my own health challenges—including lots of weight gain and very worrying blood markers—I realized that the mainstream advice simply wasn’t working for me (or for the vast majority of people as it turned out).
Driven by my problem solving zeal, I dove deep into the science of nutrition, metabolism, and chronic disease. I spent years researching, collaborating with leading experts, and sharing my findings with the public. Through my books, lectures, and podcasts, I’ve helped thousands of people understand the real drivers of weight gain and poor health—and how to reverse them. More recently I have focused on the science of psychology, which I realized is actually the most important factor in achieving an optimum bodyweight!
Healthy Weight Journey is the culmination of everything I’ve learned. I designed this app to make evidence-based, sustainable weight loss accessible and enjoyable for adults at any stage. My approach focuses on restoring metabolic health, supporting longevity, and dramatically reducing the risk of chronic disease—all without extreme diets or unsustainable routines. Most importantly we address the all-important psychology aspects - the real reason why so many people fail.
