For years, my life revolved around social media. I built my YouTube channel to over a million subscribers, constantly chasing the next viral trend and feeding into the endless cycle of doomscrolling. At first, the growth and attention felt rewarding, but over time, I realized I was becoming more disconnected from myself and the world around me. The dopamine hits from likes and views were fleeting, and I found myself feeling lost, anxious, and unfulfilled.
I had to step back and question what I was really seeking. I started researching the science behind our psychological reward systems and how social media exploits them for quick dopamine hits. I experimented with new habits—taking daily walks in nature, journaling, meditating, and reconnecting with friends face-to-face. I discovered how much richer life becomes when you’re present, productive, and open to real-world experiences.
Since making these changes combined with the additional free time I've gained from limiting my screen time, I’ve run and skied a marathon, gone skydiving, and explored the world—not for an audience, but for myself. My personal health has improved drastically from forming better habits. I’ve learned how to form deeper connections, create lasting memories, and find fulfillment beyond the screen. My journey showed me that it’s possible to break free from the grip of endless scrolling and rediscover what truly matters.
I built this app to share everything I’ve learned and to guide others through the same transformation. My hope is that you’ll use this app to reclaim your time, nurture your mind and body, and build a life that feels meaningful—offline and in the present moment.
