My journey with drones began out of pure curiosity and a desire to see the world from a new perspective. As I learned to fly, I quickly realized how much more there was to mastering drones than just taking off and landing—especially when it came to navigating U.S. airspace safely and using drones as a tool for creative expression.

Founding Women Who Drone allowed me to share my passion with others and break down barriers in a rapidly growing industry. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of training hundreds of students and schools, guiding everyone from absolute beginners to aspiring aerial artists. I’ve seen firsthand how the right knowledge can transform not just skills, but confidence and creativity.

But I also noticed that access to high-quality, comprehensive drone education was limited—especially for those who couldn’t attend in-person workshops. That’s why I created this app: to make expert guidance on both the technical and artistic sides of drone flight available to anyone, anywhere, at their own pace.
