My journey into active aging began when I saw my relatives face the challenges that come with growing older. I witnessed how quickly mobility, confidence, and independence can slip away without the right support. Growing up in a home with my grandparents and great-grandparents gave me a deep appreciation for their wisdom and life experience—and a lifelong desire to help people of all ages stay healthy and independent.
As an older adult myself, I understand what it takes to stay strong, mobile, and confident. My desire to help others and passion for fitness inspired me to become a certified personal trainer at 52 nine years ago. I enjoy helping people at every stage of life with a special focus on adults over 50 who want to feel their best and live life to the fullest.
Through my YouTube channel yes2next, I’ve inspired thousands to make movement a joyful part of their lives—many who once believed it was too late to make meaningful changes. My approach combines science, compassion, and real-world understanding of what this stage of life requires.
