Collins has long-worked as an arranger, composer, songwriter, and producer in multiple genres. In the pop world, Collins has worked with artists like OneRepublic, Dua Lipa, John Legend, Paul McCartney, Gwen Stefani, the Jonas Brothers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Asking Alexandria, and U2 and producers like Ryan Tedder, Brent Kutzle, Andrew Watt, Mike Elizondo, and Mike Sabath. In film and TV, Collins has worked on numerous shorts and independent documentaries as well as ads for national brands like The Hallmark Channel, Lifetime, Amazon, Jeep, and Wild Africa Fund. Collins received his Masters in Theory and Composition from Cal State Fullerton, studied orchestration with acclaimed Hollywood composer JAC Redford, and participated in the European American Musical Alliance, a style of compositional pedagogy that fuses aspects of Juilliard with how Nadia Boulanger taught. As a conductor and arranger, Collins conducted The Colorado Symphony with OneRepublic at Red Rocks in 2019 and with Tasha Layton for K-Love's "A Chaotic Christmas" in 2022. As an artist, Collins pursues orchestral-infused pop that goes for the heart.
