Jon Gilbert is an accomplished independent producer, mixer, and engineer based in Los Angeles, CA. With over 20 years of experience, he has worked with a diverse roster of artists, including Mt. Joy, Flipturn, Pete Yorn, The Kills, Alina Baraz, Banks, OFF!, The Circle Jerks, and Matt and Kim. Jon played a pivotal role in producing and mixing Mt. Joy's debut album, which reached #1 on the Billboard Adult Alternative charts with the hit single "Silver Lining," also earning the prestigious RIAA gold certification. His extensive background as both a live mixer and studio engineer has shaped his unique approach to music making with an emphasis on the art of sonic storytelling and capturing the essence of emotional expression.
