Ryan Buendia makes up one third of the quietly prolific hit-making machine ‘Free School’. He began working with Free School in 2009, assisting artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, Benny Benassi, and Dizzee Rascal. In the summer of that same year, he Produced on The Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D., which attained Platinum status in seventeen countries (achieving Diamond status in France), and was nominated for six Grammys, winning the award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Ryan contributed to Chris Brown’s Graffiti, which peaked at number one on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts. Taking no time to slow down, Ryan and Free School, cemented their legitimacy in the global music industry when they worked on The Black Eyed Peas’ next album, The Beginning, which achieved Platinum status in nine countries and Chris Brown’s multi platinum selling album ‘Fame’, which they co-produced hit single “Look At Me Now” along side, Diplo and Afrojack. Over the years, Ryan and Free School have collaborated with more artists, such as Kelis, Miley Cyrus, Madonna, Dr. Dre, Lil Yachty DJ Mustard and Travis Scott. Yet, it seems as though no matter which direction they take, they continuously and unapologetically strike gold.
